At this time last year, my writing, my energy and my focus was spent primarily on the Madonna School Celebration event. My mad-party throwing skills got me the gig, I’m pretty sure, and I spent over a year planning a magical evening. With the help of the talented Jeff Quinn, Jennifer Haase, Curtis Neesen and the Madonna School students, the room practically levitated.
The Celebration event is the largest fundraiser for the Madonna School each year. In order to continue a successful tradition of educating developmentally delayed children and valuing special needs adults in the Madonna Workshop, this fundraiser needs to bring in 25% of the year’s budget. It’s a big deal.
This year’s event is August 24th, and the Madonna Workshop is celebrating 35 years of Working Wonders in our community. Please consider supporting the Madonna School & Workshop by ordering your dinner tickets or making a donation here.
