“My Different Brain”
Nathan, an eleven year old with Autism I am lucky to know said this: “Just because my brain thinks differently doesn’t make me contagious. It makes me different. And I like how I can get answers that nobody else can think of because of my different brain.”
My friend Robyn shared their story, with Nathan’s input (hint, hint AS) Please take a moment to follow here.
This is part of a Flash Blog in reaction to the statements of Autism Speaks last week.
You Go Friends!
Thanks for sharing! Nathan has enriched my life as much as Marcus has–and every other special needs person I’ve met. They have such wonderful things to say, if we slow down and listen.
You did such a great job with this blog – I think it has the potential to help people understand who don’t relate and to help those who do relate see the light on the path.
