44649402Marcus is an author who has Down syndrome. He is a self-proclaimed (and proven) storyteller. As authors, we are taught; “People don’t buy books, they buy stories,” and sometimes these stories include the story of the author. Plus, in social networking and marketing we are taught, people don’t “like” an organization/website/whatever-you’re-selling, they “like” a community. People “like” being a part of something. Consequently authors, especially new authors, have to start with who they know.

Celeste is Brilliant – That is all

OK Everybody, Today is a super cool treat from friends-we-haven’t-met halfway around the world.

Let me first introduce “Celeste.”

Celeste, the person, lives in New Zealand and this film, “Celeste” focusses around her role as an “extra” in her favorite soap opera. I saw this film earlier this year at the Ethan Saylor Memorial Film Festival. I L-O-V-E it!  Since then, this short film has won awards around the world and is only one of a series of short films featuring people with disabilities.
